How to put your Lenovo S856 into Recovery Mode
1. First, power down the phone by pressing the Power button.
2. Now hold down the Volume Up & Power buttons. Release them when Recovery Mode menu pops up.
3. You are now in Recovery mode - navigate using Volume Up and select options with Volume Down.
